In October 2024, the CRC 1671 “Home(s): Phenomena, Practices, Representations” commenced its work. The collaborative research center, involving seven faculties and 24 sub-projects, takes an interdisciplinary approach to examining the current and often controversial phenomenon of home in terms of its historical and global relevance. The initiator and founding spokesperson (2024 to 2026) for the consortium is Christiane Wiesenfeldt, who also heads its sub-projects A05 and Ö.
